PERRYVILLE -- William Nelson Leonard, 93, of Perryville, died Friday, May 31, 1991, at his home. He was born Dec. 16, 1897, at Lutesville, son of Henry and Mary Bangert Leonard. PERRYVILLE -- William Nelson Leonard, 93, of Perryville, died Friday, May 31, 1991, at his home.

He was born Dec. 16, 1897, at Lutesville, son of Henry and Mary Bangert Leonard. He and Ester Blaylock were married Nov. 6, 1926.

He was a farmer and raised livestock, and was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jack Leonard of St. Louis, the Rev. Clyde Leonard of Jefferson City; a daughter, Alta Chapman of Crystal City; eight grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

Two brothers preceded him in death.

Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. today at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel. The Rev. David Pieplow will officiate, with burial in Whitewater Presbyterian Cemetery at Lixville.
