KINDER -- William Willard McTurnan, 68, of Kinder died Thursday, May 29, 1997, at his home.

He was born May 3, 1929, in Obion, Tenn., son of Samuel and Captolia James McTurnan. He and Rose Adkison were married Sept. 3, 1962.

McTurnan was a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Dannie McTurnan of St. Louis, Randy McTurnan of Bloomfield; two daughters, Judy Bowen of Dexter, Sandra Wiley of Bloomfield; 11 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held later.

Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home at Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
