CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Funeral service for William Louis Presley, 232 Good Hope, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. The Rev. Diana Cook will officiate, with burial in Lindsey Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
Presley, 62 years old, died Saturday, Feb. 9, 1991, at his home.
He was born Feb. 15, 1928, at McClure, Ill., son of Albert and Nora Porter Presley. He and the former Caecilia Schlosser were married July 4, 1977, at Cape.
Presley was a taxi driver more than 21 years with Nip Kelley Transportation. He was of the Baptist faith, and veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife; a son, William Presley Jr. of Illinois; a stepson, Ronald Palmer of Cape; two stepdaughters, Margie Palmer of Belton, Mary England of Cape; a sister, Luta Reynolds of Attalla, Ala., and eight stepgrandchildren.
