William Keesee

William Aaron Keesee, son to the late William M. and Mary Edith Lindeman Keesee, was born Jan. 24, 1938, in Grays Point, Missouri, and departed this life Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at his home in Scott City at the age of 85 years.

He married Shirly Mae Goetz on Feb. 16, 1966, and she preceded him in death July 31, 2018

William was a construction worker with Union Laborers No. 1104.

He is survived by two sons, Timothy Aaron Keesee and William G. (Crissy) Keesee, both of Scott City; two daughters, Michelle Weber of Scott City and Lisa Grasso of Jackson; a brother, Robert Keesee of Scott City; a sister, Linda (Paul) Bradshaw of Cape Girardeau; and six grandchildren

Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a sister.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 24, at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Funeral will then be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 24, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
