MOREHOUSE -- William Jesse Hester, 83, of Morehouse, died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 1994, at Sikeston Health Care Nursing Home near Sikeston.
He was born Oct. 30, 1910, at Clines Island, son of John H. and Della Patrick Hester. He married Lela Robinson, who died Sept. 15, 1958.
Hester was employed 35 years at the Himmelberger-Harrison Manufacturing Plant here, retiring in 1963.

Survivors include a son, Bill Hester of San Antonio, Texas; a brother, Ruben Hester of Idaho, and three grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Walker Cemetery near Bloomfield, with the Rev. Doyle Corlew officiating.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Morehouse after 11 a.m. Saturday.
