ELCO, Ill. -- William Clay Hodges, 58, of Elco died at 7:13 p.m. Monday, May 16, 2016, at his home.
He was born June 26, 1957, in Springfield, Missouri, to Willie and Lila Foulke Hodges.
Bill was a truck driver for many years and traveled throughout the United States. He graduated from Central High School in 1975. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
He is survived by two adult sons, Dusty (Lauren) Hodges of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and Willie (Will) Hodges of Denver; his twin sister, Della Leah Hodges of Bristol, Pennsylvania; and two grandchildren, William and Ryan Hodges, both of Fayetteville.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may gather from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms, Illinois.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Larry Buckles officiating. Military honors will be conducted by American Legion Post 178 and Illinois Honor Guard.
The family suggests no flowers. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society and Days End Farm Horse Rescue. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
