William H. Heuschober Jr., 617 S. Pacific, died Wednesday, Sept. 1, 1993, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born June 4, 1922, in Cape Girardeau, son of William and Celis Brown Heuschober. He and Maxine Heisserer were married June 5, 1948, at Dutchtown.
Heuschober was an engineer with Wisconsin Barge Lines. He was a member of USS Enterprise Association, VFW Post 3838, and retired Teamster. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Michael Heuschober, a daughter, Beverly Augustine, both of Cape Girardeau; four sisters, Gladys Lehne and Edna Cotner of Cape Girardeau, Virginia Johnson of Taylor, Texas, Patsy Hodges of East Prairie, and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Cathedral, with Msgr. Richard Rolwing officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, with military graveside rites by VFW Post 3838.
Friends may call at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel from 5:30-9 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7:30.
