William Henderson

CHARLESTON, Mo. -- William O. Henderson Jr., 29, of St. Ann, Mo., formerly of Charleston and Columbia, Mo., died Jan. 31, 2004, in Fairfax, Va.

He was born Dec. 28, 1974, in Kansas City, Mo., son of William O. Henderson and Minnie Simpkins Henderson Thurmond.

Henderson was a1994 graduate of Charleston High School and was employed by Sears Home Logistic Co. of Granite City, Ill.

Survivors include two daughters, Tenea Henderson of Columbia and Taninah Henderson of St. Louis; a son, William O. Henderson III of Columbia; his father; a sister, Alquenetta Jones of Sikeston, Mo.; a grandmother; and a stepfather, Carl M. Thurmond of Sikeston.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Friends may call Saturday from noon until time of service at the Bowden Civic Center in Charleston. Funeral will be at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Phillys Carson officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery at Charleston. Williams Funeral Home in Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
