EAST PRAIRIE -- William H. "Bill" Green, 85, of East Prairie, died Wednesday, Oct. 12, 1994, at his home. He was born Feb. 16, 1909, in Fulton County, Ky., son of William H. and Savannah J. Heatherly Green. He first married Hazel Marie Hood, who died Sept. 9, 1978. He and Katherine Novella Morris were married June 19, 1979...

EAST PRAIRIE -- William H. "Bill" Green, 85, of East Prairie, died Wednesday, Oct. 12, 1994, at his home.

He was born Feb. 16, 1909, in Fulton County, Ky., son of William H. and Savannah J. Heatherly Green. He first married Hazel Marie Hood, who died Sept. 9, 1978. He and Katherine Novella Morris were married June 19, 1979.

Green was a retired pressman with Post Cereal Co. in Battle Creek, Mich. He moved to this area in 1979 from Battle Creek.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Bob Adams of East Prairie; a sister, Sadie Kraft of Milan, Ill.; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by seven brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie after 1 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with David Dowdy officiating. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery.
