WILLIAM GEE

Graveside service for William Gee of Cape Girardeau was held Saturday at Memorial Park, with the Rev. Louis Launhardt officiating.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Gee, 74, died Thursday, Feb. 11, 1993, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born Oct. 17, 1918, in Grandview, Texas, son of James L. and Cordie Flanagan Gee. He and Linda Green were married March 13, 1986, in Las Vegas, Nev. She died Dec. 30, 1992.

Gee served in the U.S. Navy from 1938-69.

Survivors include two stepsons, Tom Blattel of Cape Girardeau, Jerry Blattel of Gordonville; a sister, Florence Jones of Sour Lake, Texas; four stepgrandchildren, and a great-stepgrandchild.
