SCOTT CITY -- William Henry Foulk, 85, of Scott City died Tuesday, April 20, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born March 27, 1914, in West Frankfort, Ill., son of Thomas Monroe and Mary Elizabeth Henson Foulk. He and Alene G. Penrose were married Sept. 10, 1936, at Jackson.
Foulk had been a mechanic with H.C. Price Pipeline Co. in Oklahoma. He was a member of American Legion Post 369 at Benton.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Robert Foulk of Cape Girardeau, Bill Foulk of Scott City, Thomas Foulk of Rockview; two daughters, Norma Jean Schoeppel of Clearwater, Kan., Theresa Ruopp of Pocahontas; a brother, Clifford Foulk of Scott City; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Jack Owens officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery.
