William E. Hruby, 50, 625 N. Lorimier, died Wednesday, July 6, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 26, 1943, in Western Springs, Ill., son of William L. and Betty Emrick Hruby. He and Karen McCall were married Aug. 31, 1985, at Jackson.
Hruby drove a cement truck until becoming disabled in 1990. He was a member of Moose Lodge of Downers Grove, Ill., Suburban Knight Bowling League in Westmont, Ill., was a demolition derby driver, and active in scouting.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Curtis Hruby of the home; a daughter, Michele Hruby of Kentucky; a brother, Michael Hruby of Wheaton, Ill., and a sister, Mary Gillen of Marble Hill.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
