BENTON, Mo. -- William Charles Dickherber, 58, of Benton died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born April 20, 1954, in St. Louis, to George and Mildred Ueltzen Dickherber. He and Catherine Ann Tillman were married Feb. 17, 1979.
William was store manager at JC Penney in Sikeston, Mo., and a member of the Sikeston Chamber of Commerce.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine of Benton; mother, Mildred of St. Louis; a son, Ryan Dickherber of St. Louis; a daughter, Katy (Ryan) Crets of St. Louis; a brother, Craig (Dawn) Dickherber of St. Louis; and a sister, Pam (Jon) Gehbauer of St. Louis.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton.
A memorial service with dinner afterward will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Monica's Catholic Church in St. Louis.
