William Colegate

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- William Michael Colegate, 51, of Chaffee passed away Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016, at his home after having a wonderful day with family and friends.

He was born June 25, 1965, in Red Bud, Illinois, to the late William Karl Colegate and Patricia Heiken Krueger Dickerson. He married Vickie Jansen on Jan. 28, 2012, and she survives of the home.

Survivors include his mother, Patricia Krueger Dickerson, and stepfather, Dan Dickerson, of Millersville; one sister, Dawn Elaina Colegate Hobbs of Chaffee; one son, Alexander William Colegate of Cape Girardeau; one daughter, Kaitlyn Sierra Colegate of Cape Girardeau; four stepchildren, Dalton McGuire, Nicole Skaggs, Harley Martin and Dylan Martin, all of Patton, Missouri; and 13 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his stepdad, Richard Allen Krueger.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. until time of service at 3 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, with Brother Knotts officiating.

Burial will be at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
