William Thomas "Billy" Cleaves, 61, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2007, at his home.
He was born Dec. 26, 1945, at Diehlstadt, Mo., son of A.C. and Thelma Halliburton Cleaves.
Cleaves was a graduate of Lincoln High School in Charleston, Mo.
Survivors include two sons, Dewayne Cleaves of St. Louis, Cleveland "PeeWee" Cleaves of Cape Girardeau; four daughters, Tanglen Marks, Tiffany and LaKeisha Cleaves, and Doris Woodridge, all of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, A.C. Cleaves of Cairo, Ill., Joe Cleaves of Kansas City, Mo.; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of service Saturday at St. Matthews Baptist Church in Charleston.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church, with the Rev. J.L. Posey officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
Williams Funeral Home in Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
