EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral service for William Cullen Bryant III, East Prairie Star Route, will be held at 11 a.m. today at Shelby Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Paul Lathum will officiate, with burial in IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.

Bryant, 46, died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Oct. 8, 1946, in Sikeston, son of W.C. and Lucy Wright Bryant. He and Donna Brantley were married April 25, 1966.

Bryant was a farmer, and member of Nelson Memorial United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, William Bryant IV of Columbia, Jason Bryant of Jonesboro, Ark.; his parents of East Prairie; three brothers, Jonjo and Mike Bryant of East Prairie, Fred Bryant of Edmond, Okla., and a grandson.
