MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- William Dean "Bill" Hulvey, 52, of Marble Hill passed away Friday, Sept. 12, 2014, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born on Nov. 2, 1961, in Rippon, Wisconsin, he was the son of the late Clarence William and Glenda Araline Barnhart Hulvey. On Feb. 23, 2006, he married Beth Crawford at Harmony Church near Marble Hill.
He worked as a truck driver for Roark Wood Products Inc. and as an entertainer with his band, Bill Hulvey and the Sidestreet Band. He used his musical talents for spiritual and lighthearted events by promoting Marble Hill and community activities for family and children.
Survivors include his wife; five sons, Derek Hulvey of Jackson, Nikolas, Hayden and Jacob Hulvey of Marble Hill and Zayne Hulvey of Greenville, Illinois; a daughter, Carly (Kenny) Massa of Cape Girardeau; five brothers, David Zobrist of Cape Girardeau and Terry Zobrist, Tim Hulvey, Carlton Hulvey and Carl Hulvey, all of Marble Hill; and a grandson, Bryson Massa.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Hutchings Funeral Chapel at Marble Hill.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with Wayne Kirkpatrick officiating. Burial will be in McGee Chapel Cemetery near Glenallen, Missouri.
