ALTO PASS, Ill. -- Funeral for William T. "Bill" Bilderbeck of Alto Pass will be held at 3 p.m. today at First Baptist Church in Alto Pass. The Rev. Danny Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Alto Pass Cemetery.

Friends may call at the church after 1 p.m. today.

Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Alto Pass is in charge of arrangements.

Bilderbeck, 89, died Monday, Sept. 17, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Jan. 20, 1912, in Alto Pass, son of John Thomas and Lula Belle Broadway Bilderbeck. He and Berniece High were married Aug. 21, 1937, in Paducah, Ky. She died May 23, 1998.

Bilderbeck farmed in Alto Pass, and was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Helen Bilderbeck of Springfield, Ill., Patricia Dresner of Albuquerque, N.M.; three sisters, Maude Anderson of Littleton, Colo., Hazel Karsteter and Mary Smith of Anna, Ill.; a granddaughter; and a great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by two sisters.
