SCOTT CITY -- William B. Dixon, 59, of Bonita Springs, Fla., died Thursday, May 11, 1995, at his home.

A native of Oklahoma, he spent most of his childhood in Georgia, where at age 13 he became the youngest Eagle Scout in the history of the state. He was a graduate of the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas.

Dixon worked in management positions with General Foods, Coca Cola, and Ralston Purina Co. He was a former president of Radiance Products in the Los Angeles, Calif., area 12 years. The past seven years he was co-owner and chief executive officer of Blair Industries in Scott City.

He had been a Boy Scout leader and baseball coach.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy; two sons, David Dixon of Boston, Mass., Mark Dixon of Dana Point, Calif.; two daughters, Cheryl McCorkle of Dubuque, Iowa, Kimberly Dixon of Columbia; a sister, Carol Markey of Houston, and a grandchild.

Friends may call at Bonita Funeral Home in Bonita Springs from 6-8 p.m. Sunday. The rosary will be at 6:15.

Funeral mass will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Leo Catholic Church. Burial will be in Naples Memorial Gardens.
