WILBERT DEWEY JONES

PATTON -- Wilbert Dewey Jones, 88, of Patton, died Friday, May 2, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Feb. 1, 1903, at Patton, son of Johnathan P. and Marcilla Statler Jones.

On March 8, 1958, he married Shirley Lee Kirkpatrick. She survives.

He was a member of the Post Oak Methodist Church.

Other survivors are sons, Bob R. Jones, Sedgewickville, Dan D. Jones, New York state, and Joe H. Jones, Patton; daughters, Bonnie Cook, St. Louis, and Nancy Anderson, Patton; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

A son, a daughter, a brother and a sister preceded him in death.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Patton until 2 p.m. today.

Service will be at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Jake Welker officiating. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery.
