Wesley Ward Farrow Jr., 70, of Cape Girardeau passed away Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2021, at his home.
He was born May 23, 1951, in Cape Girardeau, son of Wesley W. and Florence Nolan Farrow Sr. He and Phyllis Driskell were married April 7, 1969, in Cape Girardeau. She survives.
After graduating from Cape Girardeau Central High School, Wesley went on to own and operate Farrow Timber.
Wesley loved the Lord and attended Salvation and Restoration Church in Cape Girardeau.
He enjoyed driving drag race cars and playing pool with friends and family. He had a great sense of humor and with that he affectionately made up nick names to call his family and friends. Wesley enjoyed music of all kinds and spending time with his pets.
Loving survivors include his wife of 52 years of marriage, Phyllis Farrow; two children, Brandon Farrow of Millersville and Brittney (Brian) Graham of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren, Ashley (Derick) Schermerhorn of Jackson, Dylan Farrow of Millersville and Ethan Musgrave and Evan Graham, both of Cape Girardeau; and three great-grandchildren, Colby, Benett and Emelia Schermerhorn, all of Jackson.
Also surviving are two siblings, Diane Hunze of Columbia, Missouri, and Gene Farrow of Millersville.
Wesley was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Sheila Farrow; and two brothers, Dean and Kyle Farrow.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jeff Gipson officiating. Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to Alzheimer's Association.
