Wesley Ward Farrow, Sr., 87, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010, at Southeast Hospital.
He was born July 23, 1923, in Cape Girardeau to Edward and Valeoda Ward Farrow.
He was a lifelong logger, timber cutter and entrepreneur.
Wesley was married four times. He married Florence Nolan. He and Florence had four children: Dean, who preceded him in death in 1978, Gene, Wesley Jr. "Junior" and a daughter, Diane Hunze, all of Cape Girardeau.
He then married Shirley Bell, with whom he had one son, Kyle. Kyle preceded him in death.
He and Dorothy Ussery were married. She had two daughters that Wesley raised as his own, Peggy Jackson and Teresa Haman, both of Cape Girardeau.
Wesley is survived by his current wife, Rosa Farrow of Cape Girardeau. Rosa has three children, Greg Kraemer of Cape Girardeau, Bruce Kraemer of Jackson and Patsy Crawford of Marion, Ill.
Wesley is also survived by two brothers, Fred Farrow of Jackson and Omar Farrow of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Margie Schenimann of Jackson and Millie Jennings of Inverness, Fla.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with Jeff Gipson officiating.
Interment will follow at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
