BENTON, Mo. -- Wendell "Wendy" Hugh Lynch Sr., 64, of Benton died Friday, June 10, 2016, at his home.
He was born Aug. 4, 1951, in East Prairie, Missouri, to Noel Hugh and Dona Lee Mitchem Lynch. He married Debra Darlene Palmer on Aug. 4, 1973, in Cape Girardeau.
He was a diesel mechanic for Wetterau in Charleston, South Carolina. He served in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam as a jet mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Debra; a son, W. Sean (Nikki) Lynch of Benton; a daughter, Jessica (Keith) Klinge of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Alfred O'Guin of Bentonville, Arkansas; five sisters, Lula Rogers, Faye Hughes and Janice Brewer of Benton, Sue Kelch of Denver and Brenda McElroy of Diehlstadt, Missouri; and two grandsons, Chris and Justin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a sister.
