Webster G. Cobb, 88, of Millersville died Monday, Nov. 11, 2002, at Monticello House in Jackson. He was born Dec. 24, 1913, at Glenallen, Mo., son of Arthur and Carrie Etta Mouser Cobb. Webster G. Cobb, 88, of Millersville died Monday, Nov. 11, 2002, at Monticello House in Jackson.

He was born Dec. 24, 1913, at Glenallen, Mo., son of Arthur and Carrie Etta Mouser Cobb. He and Venah Mae Gibbs were married Dec. 24, 1936.

Cobb had been a carpenter at the former Porcell Construction Co., Landgraf Construction and Penzel Construction. He was a member of New Trace Creek Baptist Church, Eastern Star Chapter 310 at Millersville, and past worshipful master of Millersville Masonic Lodge 103.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Morris Cobb of Millersville; a daughter, Janet Hill-Barnhart of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Marie Sitze of Glenallen; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4 to 8 p.m. today. A Masonic service will be held at 7.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Kenneth Shoemaker will officiate. Burial will be in New Trace Creek Baptist Cemetery near Glenallen.
