STE. GENEVIEVE, Mo. -- Wayne J. Bahr, 58 years old, of Ste. Genevieve died Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at Riverview at the Park. He was born Sept. 1, 1958, in Perryville, Missouri. He was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 1037. He is survived by a brother, Leroy (Lenor "Bebe") Bahr of Topeka, Kansas; six sisters, Elaine McClure of Freeburg, Illinois, Norma Wienrich of Pomona, California, Marilyn (David) Retherford of Oak Ridge, Delores Jones of Nacogdoches, Texas, Cleta (Leawn) Hlavachick of Grand Junction, Colorado, and Sharon Grizzle of Fenton, Missouri; and nieces and nephews, great-nieces and -nephews and great-great-nieces and -nephews.. ...

He was preceded in death by his father, Cletus R. Bahr; mother, Rose F. Linderer Bahr; two sisters, Rose Catherine Day and Janet Looker; and a brother, David Bahr.

Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Ste. Genevieve.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, with Monsignor Jeffrey Knight officiating. Burial will be at Valle Spring Cemetery in Ste. Genevieve.

Memorials may be made to Valle Schools Foundation or Serenity Hospice Care.
