Warren Hoehn

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Warren W. Hoehn, 87, of Perryville died Jan. 14, 2012, at Perry Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Perryville.

He was born on Feb. 9, 1924, in Perry County, Mo., son of Cletus and Cora Sittner Hoehn. He married Verna Meister-Hoehn on May 12, 1946. She survives in Perryville.

Mr. Hoehn was retired from the Chrysler Plant in St Louis. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville, U.S. Navy World War II vet and member of VFW Post 4282 and American Legion Post 133.

Other survivors include one daughter, Connie Johnson of Spanish Lake, Mo.; two sons, Wayne and Li Hoehn of Bowling Green, Ky., and Steve Hoehn of Perryville; one sister, Shirley and Chuck Berry of Perryville; and two grandchildren, Tonya and Travis Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Chestley; and four sisters, Ruth Dickman, Doris Bock, Hallie McCarty and Beth Stark.

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville, with the Rev. Matthew Marks officiating. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday or from 6:30 a.m. to the time of service at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery in Perryville with military graveside service provided by the American Legion and the Delta Team.

Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society.
