MORLEY, Mo. -- Wanda R. (Bennett) Ogden, 79, of Morley passed away Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Feb. 19, 1936, in Gideon, Missouri, to the late Frank L. and Ethel Jordan Vaughn.
Wanda married Robert H. Ogden on Aug. 11, 1990. He preceded her in death Jan. 14, 2014.
She worked as a secretary, bookkeeper and production assistant prior to retirement. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Morley.
Survivors include one son, William "Junior" (Stephanie) Bennett of Chaffee, Missouri; one stepson, Robert E. (Robin) Ogden of Morehouse, Missouri; one grandson, whom she raised, Ryan (Courtney) Ogden of New Hamburg, Missouri; three daughters, Debra (Jim) Green of Cape Girardeau, Aleshia (Fran) Bader of Scott City and Tonyua (Jon) Townsend of Cape Girardeau; five stepdaughters, Anita (Bob) Evans of Cardwell, Missouri, Karen Fowler of Jackson, Cindy (Kevin) Armstrong of Jackson, Vicki (Chester) Stroud of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and Robyn (Clay) Hill of Blodgett, Missouri; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Wanda was preceded in death by one brother, four sisters, one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, Missouri.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. at the chapel, with the Rev. David Thompson officiating.
