SIKESTON -- Wanda L. McDowell, 62, of Sikeston died Sunday, Feb. 7, 1999, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Dec. 17, 1936, at Morehouse, daughter of John Sylvester and Esther Strobel Kinder. She and Frank J. McDowell were married April 12, 1952, in Piggott, Ark.

McDowell was a member of Greater Works Church of Jesus Christ.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Eddie McDowell of Sikeston; two daughters, Mickey Taber and Billie Bridger of Sikeston; three half brothers, Johnnie and Dean Kinder of Morehouse, David Kinder of Sikeston; two half sisters, Joann Carroll of Chaffee, Barbara Mullinex of Sikeston; six granddaughters; and two great-grandsons.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Paul Maddox officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
