Wanda Imogene Hardy, 83, of Jackson died Sunday, Sept. 10, 2006, at Fountainbleau Lodge in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Aug. 17, 1923, at Mingo, Mo., daughter of Ishmael Blythe and Maggie Pearl Knodell Faries. She and Lewis Harvey Hardy were married Dec. 24, 1943.
Hardy moved to Jackson in 1954 from Perryton, Texas. She was a member of Primitive Baptist Church at Morehouse, Mo.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Robert Hardy of Jackson; three daughters, Pam Lange of Jackson, Boneda Alexander of Austin, Texas, Beverly Hopkins of Lawton, Okla.; two brothers, John Faries of Farmington, Mo., Alvin Faries of Puxico, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, a brother and a sister.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home, with Dennis Abernathy and Loyce Fuller officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
