SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Wanda Dean Nelson of Sikeston will be held at 2 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Norman Elledge will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Nelson, 56, died Sunday, Sept. 13, 1992, at Sikeston Convalescent Center.

She was born March 14, 1936, in Scott County, daughter of George Marvin and Vernon Hope Kelley Nelson.

Nelson was a member of North Acres General Baptist Church, and Eagles Auxiliary 3319.

Survivors include a daughter, Pam Young of Benton; her mother of Sikeston; a brother, Kelley Nelson of Sikeston; three grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter.
