WANDA B. COURTOIS

PERRYVILLE -- Wanda B. Courtois, 64, of Perryville died Friday, Feb. 11, 1994 at the Perry County Nursing Center.

She was born April 10, 1929 in St. Louis, the daughter of William J. and Daisy Belle Meador Abbey.

On May 30, 1953, she married Aloysius Gilbert Courtois. He preceded her in death May 8, 1984.

She is survived by one son, Jimmy D. Wilson, Bridgeton; one brother, William J. Wilson, St. Louis; two sisters, Sarah Buck, Jupiter, Fla., Sharon Yankee, Chester, Ill.; and three grandchildren.

She was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and the VFW Post 4282 Auxiliary.

Friends may call today at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville from 3-9 p.m. and on Monday from 6:30-10:45 a.m. A parish wake and VFW service will be held today at 7 p.m.

Funeral service will be held Monday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Kenneth Grass officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
