ADVANCE -- Walter Westbrook, 86, of Advance, died Monday, Dec. 4, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Jan. 4, 1909, in Advance, son of James and Rebecca Umfleet Westbrook. He and Lucille Bass were married Dec. 24, 1939.

Westbrook was a retired farmer and custodian at Advance Schools.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, James Westbrook of Zalma, Kenneth Westbrook of Advance; five grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Richard Crabtree and Virgil Bunch officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.
