FARRAR -- Walter E. "Pete" Lorenz, 80, of Farrar, died Wednesday, June 24, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born May 22, 1912, at Farrar, daughter of John G. and Martha G. Mangels Lorenz.
Lorenz was a retired farmer, and member of Salem Lutheran Church here.

Survivors include a brother, Eldor J. Lorenz, and a sister, Edna Versemann, both of Frohna.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg from 5-9 tonight and from 6:30-8 a.m. Saturday.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Salem Church. The Rev. Bertram Schirmer will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
