FORT SMITH, Ark. -- Walter A. Fauss, 72, of Fort Smith died Saturday, Nov. 12, 1994, at the Seven Rivers Community Hospital in Crystal River, Fla.
He was a retired sergeant first class of the U.S. Army, a veteran of World War II, Korea and Vietnam, and a member of the VFW post in Fort Smith.
On July 11, 1942, he married his wife, Bobbi, in Jefferson County, Mo. She preceded him in death in January 1981.
Survivors include a son, Terry Fauss of Dayton, Texas; a daughter, Donna S. Daigger of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Ralph Fauss of Alamo, Texas, and Fred Fauss of Crystal River, Fla.; three sisters, Florence Davis, Naomi Miles and Delores Hannah, all of Murphysboro, Ill.; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Edwards Funeral Home in Ft. Smith, where funeral service will be at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Burial will be in the U.S. National Cemetery in Ft. Smith with full military honors.
