CINCINNATI -- W.A. Wilson, 84, of Cincinnati died Sunday, April 8, 2018, at Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash, Ohio.
He was born May 16, 1933, in Arbyrd, Missouri, to Willie Wesley and Beatrice Iwilda Kelbreath Wilson.
He and Ovella Ikerman were married Nov. 8, 1953, at Cape Girardeau, and she preceded him in death June 16, 1998. He and Juanita Renneker were married Dec. 11, 1999, at Cincinnati.
He served in the Air Force for 21 years and then worked for Florsheim Shoe Co. in Cape Girardeau for 21 years, retiring in 1996. He was also an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.
He was a member of Harvest Baptist Church in Cincinnati.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita Wilson of Cincinnati; a daughter, Pam (Mark) Foster of Cape Girardeau; four sons, Steven Wilson of Los Angeles, Jeff (Connie) Wilson of Altus, Oklahoma, Robert (Dixie) Wilson of Scott City and James Wilson of Cape Girardeau; four sisters-in-law, Sue Wilson of Foley, Alabama, Mary Lou Wilson of Lilbourn, Missouri, Charlene Wilson of Texas and Laura Wilson of Troy, Tennessee; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Maxine (Bud) Wilmoth; and four brothers, Paul, J.W., Wesley and Joe Wilson.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral will follow at noon at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jeff Long officiating. Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau, with full military honors.
