MALDEN -- Vivian Viola Whitlatch, 72, of Malden died Thursday, June 4, 1998, at her home.
She was born July 12, 1925, in Arkansas, daughter of the Rev. C.R. and Arah Craig Richardson. She first married the Rev. J.W. Greenway, who died in January 1962. She later married William Whitlatch Feb. 14, 1967, in Santa Ana, Calif. He died Oct. 28, 1993.
Whitlatch and her first husband were missionaries in Chichi Jima and Guam. She was a member of Bethany General Baptist Church in Campbell.
Survivors include two daughters, Bonnie Wilson of Malden, Jan Lowry of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Violet Howard and Marie Meier of Nashville, Tenn.; three brothers, Carl Richardson of Malden, George and Paul Richey of Nashville; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
Friends may call at Landess Funeral Home from 2-4 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with Dr. James Murray and the Rev. Bryan Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Rosewood First Addition Cemetery.
