Virginia Pauline Siebert, 92, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Nov. 15, 1996, at Chateau Girardeau Health Center.
She was born Dec. 7, 1903, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Clement B. and Pauline Hilleman Hoeller. She and George Siebert were married Aug. 20, 1929 in Cape Girardeau. He preceded her in death on April 13, 1995.
Siebert worked for Standard Oil and as a bookkeeper for the Southeast Missourian newspaper. She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral and was active for many years as a member of the St. Mary's Cathedral Ladies.
She was a charter member of the St. Francis Ladies Auxiliary, which was started in 1959 and was very active in community affairs and was a past member of the Sinawaks.
Survivors include a brother, Warren J. Hoeller Sr. of Cape Elizabeth, Maine; a niece, four great nieces, two nephews and three great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Friends and family only may call today at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 6 to 8 p.m., with a Rosary Service at 7 p.m.
Funeral service will be held Monday at St. Mary's Cathedral. The Rev. Randolph Tochtrop will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
