Virginia Lorene "Jenny" Seabaugh, 79, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, March 25, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 23, 1925, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of John and Ethel Kitchen Bolen. She and Tommy Seabaugh were married March 7, 1947, in Cape Girardeau.
Mrs. Seabaugh had worked at International Shoe Co. and Central Foods Inc. She was a dedicated, devoted lifelong member of First Pentecostal Church in Cape Girardeau more than 63 years, and had been a song leader and Sunday school teacher.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Sherry (Mike) Cissell of Eureka, Mo.; two brothers, Jim (Elaine) Bolen and Jess (Mary) Bolen of Cape Girardeau; four sisters, Wanda Ing, Geneva Bolen, Shirley (Ronnie) Lohman and Karen Lewis, all of Cape Girardeau; three grandchildren, Chris (Heather) Cissell of Liberty, Mo., Tara (Cliff) Marvin of Norwich, Conn., Ben (Rhondi) Cissell of Franklin, Tenn.; four great-grandchildren, Mitchell, Trevor, Zachary and Sophia Cissell, all of Liberty.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Bill and Larry Bolen.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Darrell Faire Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jesse and Tom Bolen, Rob, Mark and Jamie Lewis, and Josh Lamar, all nephews of Mrs. Seabaugh.
