Virginia Sue Roussel, 80, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2001, at her home.
She was born Jan. 15, 1921, in Mexico, Mo., daughter of George G. and Elizabeth Taft Ridgeway. She and Hershel Kenneth Roussel were married Sept. 22, 1938, at Farber, Mo. He died May 3, 1993.
Roussel had worked at Lowenbaum Dress Factory in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Jackson, Ga.
Survivors include three sons, Jim and Bill Roussel of Cape Girardeau, Steve Roussel of Brentwood, Tenn.; a brother, Bob Ridgeway of Vian, Okla.; a sister, Kate Stathem of Farber; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today, and at Halsten Funeral Home in Jackson, Ga., after 11 a.m. Saturday.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Halsten Funeral Home. Burial will be in Juliette United Methodist Cemetery in Juliette, Ga.
