Virginia Rahkopf

Virginia Lee Rahkopf went to be with the Lord Sunday, Oct. 11, 2020, at 9:02 a.m.

She was born Dec. 26, 1923, in Cambria, Illinois, to Claude and Alice Brannon Talley.

She had one brother, Lavirn (Vern) Talley, and one sister, Eunice T. Sensmeier.

She and Clyde L.W. Rahkopf were married April 24, 1943. They had two sons, Clyde William Rahkopf Jr. (Gloria Dean Farrow) and Roger Dale Rahkopf. All preceded her in death.

She leaves behind her granddaughter, Tracy Renee Rahkopf McCain; great-granddaughter, Morgan Elaine McCain (Roger Leory Bass Jr.); and her greatest joy, her great-great-grandson, Alexander Dean Bass. She also had nieces, nephews and cousins, along with dear friends at Trinity Lutheran Church and Southeast Missouri Builders Supply.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Douglas Breite officiating.

Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
