CHARLESTON -- A memorial service for Virginia Louise Long of Charleston will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Leon Sterling will officiate.
Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from noon until time of service.
Long, 69, died Saturday, March 13, 1999, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born Feb. 18, 1930, in Mississippi County, daughter of Edward W. and Elizabeth Reynolds Mungle. She and Paul Long were married in 1947. He died in 1990.
Long lived in Charleston most of her life. She retired in 1990 from Winslow Cattle Marketing.
Survivors include a son, Ted Long of Charleston; three daughters, Deborah Howard and Cynthia Mugridge, both of Globe, Ariz., Paula Long of Charleston; her mother of Charleston; a brother, Kendall Mungle of Charleston; a sister, Carol McCullough of Queen City, Texas; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father and a brother.
