JACKSON -- Virginia Louise Thiele, 67, of San Jacinto, Calif., died Monday, Nov. 16, 1992, in Hemet Valley Hospital in California. She was born Jan. 18, 1925, in Oak Ridge, daughter of Elsie Brown Clifton. She married Floyd Thiele Dec. 13, 1947. He died Oct. 3, 1985...

JACKSON -- Virginia Louise Thiele, 67, of San Jacinto, Calif., died Monday, Nov. 16, 1992, in Hemet Valley Hospital in California.

She was born Jan. 18, 1925, in Oak Ridge, daughter of Elsie Brown Clifton. She married Floyd Thiele Dec. 13, 1947. He died Oct. 3, 1985.

Thiele was a secretary in the fitting room at International Shoe Co. in Jackson. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Oak Ridge and Emanuel United Church of Christ in Jackson. She moved to California in 1986.

Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn Ellison of Aguanga, Calif.; a brother, John Clifton of Jackson; two sisters, Margaret Niswonger and Betty Jaco of Jackson; five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Sam Roethemeyer will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
