VIRGINIA KIRN

Virginia Kirn, 78, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Oct. 30, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born June 13, 1922, in Havre, Mont., daughter of Clark and Norma M. Williams Caton. She and Henry H. Kirn were married Aug. 22, 1953, in Jackson, Mo.

Kirn worked at Stix, Baer and Fuller in St. Louis more than seven years. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include her husband; a son, James Komis of Lake St. Louis, Mo.; a daughter, Catherine Komis of Carolina Beach, N.C.; three brothers, Joe, Patrick and Robert Caton of St. Joseph, Mo.; a sister, Jo Ann Francis of Houston, Texas; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, two brothers, and four sisters.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel after 9 a.m. Thursday.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Milton Ryan officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
