MATTHEWS, Mo. -- Virginia Dare Healy, 84, of Matthews, died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2001, at Sells Rest Home in Matthews.
She was born April 19, 1917, in Grafton, W.V., the daughter of William D. and Estella Kyer Webb. She married Alfred Albert Healy in 1941. He preceded her in death on July 27, 1982.
She was a secretary for Duncan Foundry in Alton, Ill., for many years and was a member of the Main Street Methodist Church in Alton.
She is survived by a son, Alfred Healy of Bedford, Mass.; a sister, Neva Myers of Charleston, W.V.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughters and three brothers.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The Rev. Bill Meeks will officiate.
Burial will be at the Hillcrest Burial Park in Cumberland, Md.
