Virginia Mae Gregory, 82, of Brownwood, Missouri, passed away Thursday, Dec. 16, 2021, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Aug. 31, 1939, in Bell City, Missouri, the daughter of Tom and Mildred Hickerson Hampton.
Virginia had been a homemaker and helped her husband, J.T., on the family farm.
She attended Assembly of God in Advance, Missouri.
Virginia and J.T. Gregory were united in marriage Jan. 2, 1960, and he survives of the home.
Survivors include her husband, J.T. Gregory; a son, Dale (Bonita) Gregory of Rocky Mount, Missouri; a daughter, Donna Gregory of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Virgil (Mary) Hampton of Advance; five sisters, Deloris (Fred) Ritter of Advance, Carolyn (Dale) McCain of Kennewick, Washington, Nancy (Scott) Anthony of Advance, Glenda (Dennis) Hitt of Advance and Maralyn (Gerald) Essner of Whitewater; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Dale Wiseman officiating. Burial will follow at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
