ANNA, Ill. -- Virginia G. Dalbey, 83, of Anna died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 1999, at Union County Hospital in Anna. She was born March 4, 1916, in Danville, the daughter of Walter and Helen Romine Bullock Rohling. She married James C. Dalbey Aug. 234, 1934, in Covington, Ind. He preceded her in death on Dec. 26, 1999...

ANNA, Ill. -- Virginia G. Dalbey, 83, of Anna died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 1999, at Union County Hospital in Anna.

She was born March 4, 1916, in Danville, the daughter of Walter and Helen Romine Bullock Rohling. She married James C. Dalbey Aug. 234, 1934, in Covington, Ind. He preceded her in death on Dec. 26, 1999.

She was a member of the First Christian Church in Anna and had worked at the Anna State Bank and other retail establishments in Anna over the years.

She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Jo Stirlen of St. Louis; a brother, Walter Rohling, of Appleton, Calif.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at the Lutz & Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna with the Rev. David Soucie, pastor of the First Christian Church in Anna, officiating.

Burial will be at the Anna Cemetery.
