GARDEN CITY, Kan. -- Virginia D. Fulton, 92, of Garden City, formerly of Jackson, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2016, at her home. She was born Jan. 7, 1924, in Marble Hill, Missouri, daughter of John William and Nona Marie Lutes Davault. She and Shelton Eugene Fulton were united in marriage Dec. 28, 1941, and he passed away Dec. 20, 2012...

GARDEN CITY, Kan. -- Virginia D. Fulton, 92, of Garden City, formerly of Jackson, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2016, at her home.

She was born Jan. 7, 1924, in Marble Hill, Missouri, daughter of John William and Nona Marie Lutes Davault. She and Shelton Eugene Fulton were united in marriage Dec. 28, 1941, and he passed away Dec. 20, 2012.

Virginia worked as a payroll manager for the Federal Reserve Bank in Denver, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Jackson.

Survivors include her son-in-law, Tom Davis of Victor, Montana; granddaughters Erin Leigh (Stuart) Wagner of Garden City and Jenna Gayle (Pobzeb) Armerding of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Sandra Sue Davis.

A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. today at Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery, with Dale Davault officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Salem Baptist Church in Marble Hill.

Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill is in charge of arrangements.
