ORAN -- Virginia F. Farrar, 63, of Oran died Tuesday, March 30, 1999, at her home.
She was born July 13, 1935, at Pocahontas, Ark., daughter of Tom and Annie Johnson Huckabee. She and Larry Farrar were married Feb. 14, 1981.
Farrar had been a cook at Oran Public Schools and a clerk at Womack's Drug Store until it closed. She was a member of Morley VFW Auxiliary 5368.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Steve Atchison of Benton, Clint Atchison of Jackson; a daughter, Kelly Kinder of Oran; two stepsons, Tommy and William Farrar of Alvin, Texas; and a stepdaughter, Patty Parks of Summersville, N.J.
Also surviving are three brothers, Dub Huckabee of Doniphan, Larry Huckabee of Conway, Ark., Johnny Huckabee of Jefferson City; two sisters, Bonnie Peoples of Conway, Shirley Little of Michigan; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and two sisters.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Ed Carter officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Garden near Morley.
