VIRGINIA DUBS

Virginia Meyer Dubs, 72, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Dec. 21, 1998, at McAllen Medical Center in Hidalgo, Texas.

She was born May 10, 1926, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Adolph and Cora Meystedt Meyer. She married Martin Dubs Jan. 15, 1946, in Sikeston. He survives.

She was a member of Winter Texans of Pharr, Texas, for 18 years.

She also is survived by two sons, W. Martin Dubs of Northfork, Va., and David Dubs of Scott City; three daughters, Martha Barnhart and Kathy Morris, both of Cape Girardeau, and Brenda Wachter of Jackson; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a son, five brothers and a sister.

Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Saturday at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel with the Rev. Phil Curran officiating. Burial will be at Lorimier Cemetery.
