Virginia A. "Jinny" Buchheit, 66, of Perryville, died Friday, July 12, 1996, at her home.
She was born April 2, 1930, in St. Louis, daughter of Arthur and Sylvia Cissell Queathem. He and Ewald Buchheit were married Nov. 25, 1948, in Perryville. He died Dec. 16, 1983.
Buchheit was owner/operator of Ewald's B-B-Q in Perryville. She was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church.
Survivors include a son, Terry Buchheit of Perryville; two daughters, Bonnie Stark of Fairfield, Iowa, Laurie Cox of St. Louis; a sister, Joyce Kelly of Arcadia; five brothers, Arthur Queathem of St. Charles, Eugene and Richard Queathem of St. Louis, Bernard Queathem of Perryville, James Queathem of Waterloo, Iowa, and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter.
Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 3-9 p.m. Sunday, and Monday from 6:30-10:20 a.m. Monday. The wake will be at 7 p.m. Sunday, and rosary at 9 a.m. Monday.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
